Las Vegas Adventures

A night out

I heard from Scott a little while ago (finally!) and they're taking a quick road trip tonight...to Las Vegas! Never mind that they have to be back at work at 6:45 a.m...glad they're not flying tomorrow.

Variety (and spontaneity) are the spice of life!

P.S. He's not coming back till the 31st...they (the Army) gave away their plane seats to soldiers that're deploying soon and going home....

P.P.S. Made icky discovery tonight -- ants coming out of the ice/water dispenser from the fridge. Its not pleasant to see ants floating in your ice water...we've had a problem with ants for awhile now -- I'm hoping it'll get better from here, not worse. Ugh.
On that note - happy weekend :-)

Its waaaaay to early!

Scott's headed off to NTC this morning -- a day early than originally planned but no biggie....he's just leaving waaaaay earlier in the morning than either of us would like. He has to be there at 3, yes 3. So, here we are at 2:15 getting ready to go. I'm definitely headed back to bed before getting up for work a little later. Happy thursday!

"I'm flying to Maui on Wednesday"

That's what I heard after work one day. Tough job, eh? Do some work, see some scenery and check out some whales. I'm sure there's more "work" involved than I know about, but they've also been known to come back with krispy kremes -- Maui is the only island that has them. Things here are good. Work is keeping both of us busy. Scott has been over at the Big Island all last week and will be home Monday. He will aslso be gone for most of August and some of September -- as of now -- for NTC in California. That date has changed 3 times already, so who really knows for sure. The days are being ticked off one by one until we come home for a couple of weeks at the end of june/beginning of july. We're looking forward to a few St. L traditions; namely cardinals baseball, ted drewes and of course time with friends/family.
