For awhile now we've both been busy with work and day-to-day living that we haven't taken the camera out on any adventures. Over Memorial Day we got out to the beach; we snorkeled a bit and had a picnic lunch. I ended up getting a bit sunburned this time, but nothing to terrible. One evening last weekend as we headed out to dinner we stopped and caught the sunset. No green flash, but a few fun pictures. Enjoy the weekend everyone!

Law degree....check...
Just a couple Fridays ago Emily received her JD. I was able to get a few pictures from that celebration. Now, she's official and is on retainer as my counsel....just in case...who knows what could happen these days. She's headed to Northwestern in the fall for the LLM degree. Might be a bit chilly come winter, but we're sure she'll overcome that obstacle with the same tenacity she's used to get through those 3 years of law school. Congrats Emily!!!!

Zoo trip
A few weeks ago we went down to the zoo to check it out. Every time I tried to post these pictures I encountered some sort of "technical difficulty" Finally! The zoo is definitely smaller than St. Louis, but it was nice to walk around for an afternoon and see what they had. We had to drive around looking for a parking space and ended up parking quite a ways away, but we had a lovely view of diamond head!

Happy Birthday to You!
"I'm flying to Maui on Wednesday"
That's what I heard after work one day. Tough job, eh? Do some work, see some scenery and check out some whales. I'm sure there's more "work" involved than I know about, but they've also been known to come back with krispy kremes -- Maui is the only island that has them. Things here are good. Work is keeping both of us busy. Scott has been over at the Big Island all last week and will be home Monday. He will aslso be gone for most of August and some of September -- as of now -- for NTC in California. That date has changed 3 times already, so who really knows for sure. The days are being ticked off one by one until we come home for a couple of weeks at the end of june/beginning of july. We're looking forward to a few St. L traditions; namely cardinals baseball, ted drewes and of course time with friends/family.
I wonder where they'll land....
backwash from the rotars...impressive
Look, they made a rainbow!
