More pics

We also visited the Valley of the Temples...it was located on the windward side in a japanese cemetery. It was quiet with the occasional ring of the 300 ton bell for good luck!

Ring that bell....

Spring Break

Its finally spring break! Wooohooo -- 2 weeks of no school! Emily has been visiting so we've been trying to get out and about a little and see some different places. We went up to Kailua beach on the windward side (windy for sure!) and also visited the Bishop museum -- history museum meets the science center.

Fake Out...

So much for the huge windstorms with gusts of 50-60 mph. It WAS more windy than usual, but not as bad as they expected.

Check it out

While we're here in StL. enjoying some cold/warm weather and some rain, back on the island people are without power. Apparently they had a big thunderstorm and the whole island of Ohau lost power for a while...slowly its coming back. Check out the article if you like. Looks like we missed the weather there, but we still get to experience the rain here in StL.
