Here are
just a few pictures from our trip to the Big Island....we took
a lot. There was lots to see! We stayed at the Kileuea Military Camp, which was right in the Hawaii Volcano National Park. So, we saw lava, went to the top of Mauna Kea, drove by lots of old lava (drove a lot period!) and saw as much as we could in a few days. More pictures to come!

Ginger -- apparently in the national park its a nuisance and is constantly trying to be eradicated. Its similar to, but not the ginger in the store
