Hoyt Invasion

Thanksgiving was celebrated with all immediate Hoyt's in Hawaii. We kayaked, spent time on the beach, saw some surfing/turtles and ate at a few good restaurants.

A Hawaiian View

We usually end up bringing the camera with us these days when we go out because we never know what we might see. Here are a few pictures from the past two weeks:

Driving home one day we saw the sun peeking through clouds

Its neat how the clouds seem to just sit on top of the mountains

The sun was starting to go down so there was more light in the sky than on the mountains, but still pretty!

On the way to Schofield Barracks

Yes, it does rain in Hawaii!!

So, it rained the other day, I think the weather people said that some places got 29 inches of rain in 24 hours. Just so everyone knows it does rain in Hawaii, but when there was a break in the rain we did go to the beach....

Is it going to rain?

I guess not!!

But then again it might!!!

Trick or Treat!

We were visited by Cinderella, witches, Dorothy, skeletons, power rangers and a variety of other creatures last night. Luckily we had what they wanted so they didn't have to use their swords or other magical powers.

Pumpkin guts....ewwww

The final result...a happy jack-o-lantern!
